College Life

wall photography. Pictures, Images and Photos

Here's a few lil things that's happened & that I've learned in my lovely
new life:

*No job=No money=no clothes shopping :(

*Had my first real heartbreak, probably not my last.

*Became a pro @ filling out applications

*Early morning classes=BAAAD

*water aerobics actually IS a work out albeit a tad corny.

*Grocery shopping is fun (if you have the money)

*Had many midnight runs to Wal mart.

*Also played midnight tennis, SO much better than any other kind of tennis

*Car broke down on the side of the road

*Rode with 2 complete strangers twice in a week

*I LOVE being closer to my family

*I have become a lot more independent which is...good.

*Phone calls to mom, bawling my eyes out..that's ok. it happens

*I really like taking notes :)

*In college there really SHOULD be a set bed time

*Gas runs low really fast in the city

*Ramen is a fast & tasty meal

*But you also feel very achieved after making a nice home made meal

*I'm taller than a lot of guys >:(

*I've gone in public w/out makeup (and a total mess)LOTS of times & been totally comfortable.

*I love my bed

*I'm finding out what I like about myself instead of focusing on what I don't

*Someday, I want a GOOD satisfying life. Which is why I'm here

*This life is a tough one...you cannot do it alone.

Ready or Not...

College. Yes...I'm going...amazingly, I've decided to go & get an edumacation...or maybe more for experience.

Of course I feel excited, nervous, anxious, scared...etc. But I think the emotion that's stood out lately is excitement. I'm as ready as I'll ever be.

I guess it hasn't completely hit me that I'm actually graduating...I'm DONE with high school. These people I've spent so many years with are all going to go their separate ways. Who knows when I'll see them again. But that's ok, for the most part. Can't say too many of them had a huge impact in my life. The ones that HAVE will definitely be missed, but it had to happen eventually.

I'm ready to meet new people & have the whole college life. I'm perfectly ok with living on easy mac, ramen, and bread (WHITE kind). I'm up for the challenge.

Anyways, I've been thinking about the little things I'll miss about this small town of Blanding & my experiences here. *sigh* can't believe I'll miss anything, but I will.

*It takes 5 minutes or less to get to your destination

*I can climb on the school roof & not get into too much trouble :P

*Patio...:/ MANY hours of my life spent there

*MY FRIENDS <3

*When it snows, you have awesome neighbors to dig you out

*I can go for a walk @ dusk/night and not have to worry about getting kidnapped (night games in middle school!!)

*I see a friendly & familiar face every day (not ALWAYS the best tho)

*Smell of mowed grass in the summer, burning wood in the fall/winter

*Recapture Lake

*Cruising around town in the wee hours of the morning

*Late nights (every night)

*4 wheeling around town in the dead of winter!!! GAH that was fun

* Rollerblading at the Credit union..& sprinklers

* Snow Cone shack

*4th of July

*Being a T.A. at the Kindergarten

*Bus Trips

*Random photoshoots

*Playing at one of the many parks

*Sledding at the 4th

*High School Football games

*My backyard (actually kinda pretty in the spring/summer)

*Camping on Skeeter's lawn

*Shopping at the Dollar Store

*Our Flower Swing

*How simple life can get here

There's quite a bit of things I'll miss. But I'm off to create new memories! :) Wish me luck (and give me money, I'm gonna need it)
